On November 4th, 2021, the Washington Foreign Law Society hosted a webinar entitled How Do You “Know” Who Did It – and Then What? The Challenges of Cyber AccountabilityThe event was organized in cooperation with the Stimson Center, and featured Mr. Dmitri Alperovitch, Executive Chairman of Silverado Policy Accelerator, and Dr. Els de Busser, Assistant Professor of Cybersecurity Governance, Leiden University. Dr. de Busser and Mr. Alperovitch discussed difficulties associated with conducting attribution activities in cyberspace from a legal and technical perspective.The Washington Foreign Law Society wishes to thank Dr. de Busser and Mr. Alperovitch (who was recently also featured in Foreign Affairs magazine) for the engaging conversation.
