Location: Holland & Knight LLP, 800 17th St NW, Washington, DC 20006

Please join the Washington Foreign Law Society for a panel discussion exploring the internal ethical rules and dispute resolution mechanisms employed by some of the largest international organizations. These rules are created with the goal of ensuring that the workplace remains safe and free from harassment and abuse. Given the diverse composition of the workforce in these organizations, which types of behaviors are reported? Further, what processes exist to investigate and sanction behavior that violates the rules? The panelists will present and discuss relevant cases concluded before their respective institutions.

The panel will be moderated by Giuliana Canè, Executive Secretary, Inter-American Development Bank Administrative Tribunal, and will feature:

  • Celia Goldman, Registrar & Senior Legal Advisor, International Monetary Fund Administrative Tribunal
  • Zakir Hafez, Executive Secretary, World Bank Administrative Tribunal
  • Mercedes Carrillo, Secretary, Organization of American States Administrative Tribunal

The discussion will be followed by a networking cocktail reception.

Register using the form below. We look forward to seeing you!
