Property Rights for Development

On July 14, The Washington Foreign Law Society hosted another successful webinar on Property Rights for Development. The speakers were Lorenzo Montanari, Prof. Sary-Levy Carciente, and Rodrigo A. de Ouro Preto Santos.

They introduced the International Property Rights Index 2019, explained the methodology behind its creation, and emphasized that "property rights are essential for the freedom of every human being (…), they act as a catalyst for economic growth and social development."

Thank you to the speakers for sharing insights on IPRI and their remarkable work for the field of Intellectual Property as well as social and economic development.
