2024 Annual Meeting and Elections

On October 16, 2024, the Washington Foreign Law Society held its annual meeting at the offices of Holland & Knight, where members gathered to celebrate our accomplishments and welcome new leadership.

We are excited to announce that Alexandra Bochnakova has been elected President, succeeding Michael Teodori, and MJ Shin has been elected Vice President. We extend our sincere gratitude to Mr. Teodori for his outstanding service during his tenure.

“I am deeply grateful and honoured to receive the vote of confidence from the members of the WFLS for entrusting me with the position of President. I have been involved with the society for many years and I am happy to continue contributing from this perspective. I am looking forward to an exciting year filled with many interesting and engaging programs. I would like to build on the tradition of the WFLS, focus on more in-person events, go back to our Embassy gatherings and organizing other enriching conversations monthly. I am surrounded by a great team and truly excited to be working with the new officers!”, the new President said.
